The Planning Proposal for this site was Gazetted in October 2014 and this zoned the site R1 Residential. The planning controls placed on the site allow for the construction of buildings ranging from 12 to 46 metres high, with 600 residential apartments to be built within 7 buildings. There is also provision for a 100 place childcare centre to be built and 1,900m2 of commercial / retail space to be constructed.
Given that the site is located within the Kellyville Station Precinct Plan, the site is ideally suited for high density residential development, and we have been working with the planners and Council to maximise the potential of the site – this concept is supported in the October 2014 Gateway determination. As a result a revised plan to develop 746 residential apartments plus 1,900m2 of commercial space within 5 buildings is being proposed.
