20 Sep Tele lumiere Fundraising Dinner
The Tele Lumiere fundraising dinner was held on Thursday 26 May 2016 in the Grand Ballroom at the Westella Renaissance in Lidcombe. The function was hosted by the Friends of Tele Lumiere Noursat Australia in support of the mission of Tele Lumiere Noursat.
Tele Lumiere Noursat carries out a noble role in Lebanon and all over the world spreading the Word of God and the Good News of the Gospel. Since its foundation in 1991, Tele Lumiere has not been associated to any political party or movement, and does not accept or promote any commercial endorsements. As a non-profit broadcasting station, its only sources of income are donations and contributions. The Church cooperated with this television station since the beginning when she found it one of the best means to promote the principles of justice, love, freedom and human rights: values called for by Christianity everywhere.
They are also hoping to launch Noursat Australia with the support of Tele Lumiere in Lebanon and through the generosity of community members.
The event was a big occasion with a delegation from Tele Lumiere Lebanon present on the night to thank friends and donors for their support.
